There are not that many single men out there these days that are seeking a long term relationship. While there are many women seeking a LTR, they may not be available. So, let’s talk about how to know if a woman is too busy to date.
I know we all hear the “I’ll make time if I meet the right person” line. But let’s face it, you can create time that doesn’t exist in a busy life.
Here are some things to look out for that show a woman may be too busy to date.
- Works more than 5 days a week.
- Has younger children more than 50% of the time (under 12 years old)
- Works full time and goes to school
- Has children that are active in sports or other extracurricular activities
- Takes care of an elderly parent
- Likes ladies’ nights with friends on a regular basis
- Has a hobby or activity that takes up more than one night a week
While this is not meant to be an all inclusive list, it does cover the major ones. And if someone has more than one the above, just move on.
As we get older and want a new relationship, spending time together on a regular basis is critical. The key to getting to know someone, is being together. If you drag out getting to know someone and it doesn’t work out, all that time was wasted. And of course, you won’t get that time back.
If we were all 20 years old that wouldn’t be that big of an issue. But when you’re 50 years old, before you know it another year could pass. Dating smart when you get older is only way to not waste your time or someone else’s.
Also, another big red flag is when someone says it will take time to get to know you. As we get older, we know what we want but more importantly what we don’t want. Spending a lot of time together when starting a new relationship will help you get to know someone much quicker.
Relationships today start much faster than in the past. New relationships either end quickly or get serious quickly. The good news is that when they get serious, they seem to last. And don’t forget to video chat before you meet.
