She speaks 6 languages with a life dedicated to learning and helping others. Including reading and writing in Arabic as well as Japanese. Dating Coach Vanessa Allard shares her 15 year journey to find love. She will also be the newest contributor to My One Amor.
Born in Paris, she is a dual citizen of France and the Philippines. Her journey to be a natural dating coach started when the man she loved left her weeks before their planned wedding. The hurt was so bad she buried herself in work and studying for the next 15 years.
During that time she found her calling to give advice. With her multilingual capabilities she helped people from different countries. The lessons of what she learned from her own life touched many.
Finally, in 2020 she decided it was her time to find love. Here is what happened in her own words:
“I had not thought much about being in a relationship for many years. I had become somewhat of a recluse as when I went anywhere, I was always hit on by men. It didn’t matter the country I was in, UAE, Japan, Hong Kong, United States, France or the Philippines. Sometimes the more aggressive men frightened me. I just didn’t want to date or have a relationship of any kind.
My life was about helping others, but I began to realize that maybe I need to focus on myself. It had been nearly 15 years since I was in a relationship and I was now 35 years old.
I found myself becoming attracted to a man at work who was crazy smart and handsome. The problem was, he was already in a relationship. Our communication was limited, and work related. I flirted with him, but he never reciprocated.
Then one Sunday morning in October he reached out to me and said his relationship was over. I told him immediately that I would request an extended leave from work to be with him. I was in another country at the time. Today, I am still waiting to see him. There are Covid-19 restrictions on travel to the U.S.
We have video chatted everyday since that Sunday. He is the most kind and loving man I have ever known. I am truly in love with him and can’t wait for us to be together.”
