Dating Advice Blog Celebrates 10 Years

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years. Time does fly. The My One Amor dating advice blog celebrates 10 years of stories about finding love and relationships.

It was a crazy idea inspired by an anonymous serial dater who shared his true stories about all the women he had sex with. Although sometimes a little on the edge, it turned out to be some great advice for women on dating apps who were concerned about players.

The stories went far beyond just the “Dating Addict” adventures and conquests but explored more serious topics like dating women from other cultures and countries. The stories had no problem calling out, even the big dating apps for crazy things that were happening. And of course, scamming that was going on with women.

We began with Charlotte DiLuzio as the Editor. She was also one of the original founders of Love Boss Matchmaking in South Florida. Today Love Boss has top matchmakers Marla Martenson and Fredly Antosh maintaining that 90% success rate for men. We have awarded them multiple times as South Florida’s top matchmaker for men.

Even today many of the national and local matchmakers in the Miami area cannot keep up with the success record of Love Boss.

In 2019, renowned Dating Coach, Alexis Meads joined as a contributor. Well known for her work with many high-profile clients and collaborations with high profile industry experts including Tony Robbins.

But perhaps one of the most notable stories came rather unexpectedly when we received an email from famed hip hop record producer Jonathan Hay sharing how he found his “my one amor”.

He has collaborated with major artists including Rihanna, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Drake, and Ice Cube. His original success started for his work on “Pon de Replay”, the debut single from Rihanna. As it was rumored, he was dating Adele. Our story and follow up got picked up or basically copied, without acknowledgment by several British tabloids.

We announced the start of Dating Coach Live in 2019. Today Ireland’s top Relationship Expert Frances Kelleher still gets new clients from that platform. In fact, she just told us a new client signed with her last week.

Another very important distinction about My One Amor is that in this entire 10 year history, we have never accepted a single dollar for any ads or promotions. Our stories are true, real and unbiased.
