If you live on a tropic island or in place that is cold all year this may not apply to you. Different than the popular dating terms, ghosting and breadcrumbing, that we all have heard, it seems not as many people have heard the term, cuffing season. What is it ? It’s the fall – winter time of year when its cooler out and people have a tendency to stay at home more. So ladies looking for a man ? Cuffing season is coming.
We hear from a lot of women readers who say they have all but had it with online dating apps due to all the men wanting hookups, catfish, still married, criminals or don’t know what they want. Yes, it does seem the dating world is not a fair place for women seeking a relationship in the U.S. these days. But there may be a middle of the road here with another opportunity to find that man.
During cuffing season even a guy who thinks he may not want a relationship or is unsure may take to evenings of Netflix, new TV series premieres or even football. So men want a person they can be with, even if its not committed officially, but one to spend time at home with. So this is an opportunity to spend time with a guy, get to know him and maybe turn it into a committed relationship.
The bad news is that cuffing season is a bad time to meet new people as with more staying at home, there are even less available to meet. The unofficial start date is October 1st, so now is the time to start meeting people !
So ladies looking for a man ? Cuffing season is coming. And if you like to stay home and/or watch a little TV, even better.
